Configuration

Configurations are necessary for working in Communication application.
For examples : For sending mail with your registered email to customer or employee on registration time. For mailing conversation you have to set the mail content using admin user setting & frontend user setting.

Follow this guide to configure basic requirements for Communication  application.

  1. Admin User Setting : For set email content to sending emails for update or reset password. This email content will be used to sending email to  ERP (Epan) users (like employee of your organization / company).

    In admin user setting you will found two tabs to set email content.
     - Reset Password Mail
    This mail content will be used to send email for reset password request's message to erp(epan) users after requested of reset password by erp(epan) users.

    There are just two fields, subject and body. To display information like "user name" etc. you can place spots ({anything in between curly braces}). The spots you can use are listed as field hint.


    For ex :


     - Update Password Mail
    This mail content will be used to send email for successful updation message to erp (epan) users after successfully updation of password.


    There are just two fields, subject and body. To display information like "user name" etc. you can place spots ({anything in between curly braces}). The spots you can use are listed as field hint.

    For ex :


  2. Frontend User Setting : For set email content to sending emails for activate account, update or reset password. This email content will be used to sending email to your online e-commerce website's customers.

    In frontend user setting you will found multiple tabs to set email content.
     
     - Frontend User Configuration :
    This configuration is used to activate user account. There are three option to set email configuration :
    Self Activation Via Email : If we choose this, then user's account will be activated by verification mail process.
    Admin Activated : If we choose this, then user's account will be activated by "Admin Users".
    Default Activated : If we choose this, then user's account will be activated after registration without following any verification email process.

    please select an option to configure this setting.


     - Registration Email
    This mail content will be used to send email for successful message to online website users after successfully registration.

    There are just two fields, subject and body. To display information like "email id" etc. you can place spots ({anything in between curly braces}). The spots you can use are listed as field hint.

    For ex :


     - Reset Password Email
    This mail content will be used to send email for reset the password of online user's login credentials.

    There are just two fields, subject and body. To display information like "email id" etc. you can place spots ({anything in between curly braces}). The spots you can use are listed as field hint.

     - After Verification Email
    This mail content will be used to send email for successful verification message to online website users after successfully verification of account.

    There are just two fields, subject and body. To display information like "email id" etc. you can place spots ({anything in between curly braces}). The spots you can use are listed as field hint.

    For ex :


     - Update Password Email
    This mail content will be used to send email for successful updation message to online website users after successfully updation of password.

    There are just two fields, subject and body. To display information like "email id" etc. you can place spots ({anything in between curly braces}). The spots you can use are listed as field hint.

     - Subscription Email
    This mail content will be used to send email for successful subscription message to online website users after successfully subscription.

    There are just two fields, subject and body. To display information like "email id" etc. you can place spots ({anything in between curly braces}). The spots you can use are listed as field hint.

  3. Communication Sub Types :
    Using epan you can communicate via email with your organization related contact. Or you can keep the records of every communication like call, support & sms etc.
    In communication here multiple type of communication available llike Email, Call & Sms etc. :


    For e.g. if you communicated with any customer then you can keep records of that communication using communication action (given with customer information grid).

    Here you can view that you can select here communication type & its sub type also. 


    And after feed proper information you can save this communication. 

    After communication you can view communication history too, i.e. :

    For define communication sub types you have to click the Side bar menu & select the General Setting :

    Here you have multiple tabs. Now click on "Communication Sub Types" tab : 
    For e.g. if you communicated with a contact via call then you can select its sub type that is this call was incoming or outgoing.

You have successfully configured the miscellaneous setting in Communication configuration, now you can use Communication application.
